The Bury Safeguarding Partnership is made up of organisations that work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people and their families and adults in Bury.
The work is led by the Bury Safeguarding Children Partnership and the Bury Safeguarding Adults Board.

The Bury Safeguarding Children Partnership has agreed its priorities for 2023/2024 which are:

Working Together to Safeguarding Children (2018) outlines the requirement for Local Safeguarding Partnerships to engage with independent scrutiny.
"The role of independent scrutiny is to provide assurance in judging the effectiveness of multi-agency arrangements to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children in a local area, including arrangements to identify and review serious child safeguarding cases".
